A 25 year old shouldnt be showing interest in a 14 year old. I can see that you are very mature for your age. But that's very unhealthy, not to mention illegal. Most guys would not wait the 3 years & honestly you would probably be better off finding someone a little closer to your age. He did the proper thing by going to your parents but they definitely did the right thing whne they declined. They're keeping you safe from what would undoubtedly end in heartache. Good luck hun
