Help on my 8 month old pup!?

i have recently discoverd a squishy lump on the back of my 8 month old lab, its at the back of her front leg ( behind her knee joint ) its as big as golf ball...any suggestions as to what it might be. i will be taking her to the vets but just need my mind to be a rest untill i do. thanks
