Why do Americans hate the UN so much? Are they just bitter that the UN didn't endorse the Iraq war?

America is a sovereign nation and does not need to listen to anyone when it comes to our defense and our well being. Look at the members of the UN, China, N.Korea, Iraq, Iran, etc., every America hating country, communist country and dictatorship. Do you really think these members have our best interests at heart? You do not put your security and future into the hands of your enemies. The UN is a lot of talk and no action. Ask the people of Darfur if they think the UN is the worlds answer to problems. Better hurry, before their all dead.
