How do you manipulate a letter on adobe indesign cs3?

What you want to do is go to the top of the screen and select the "Text" or "Type" menu. (I can't remember what it is called) Select the "Convert to Curves" option. This will break the text into an image that you can edit with the white selection tool. At the ends of the letters, editable points should show up.
