Help! I'm repainting some interior wood trim, and the old paint underneath is gummy and lumpy!!?

Sorry there is no quick fix..It all has to come off if you want it to look good..Buy a good scr and use that if the chemical Stripper wont get it all off..you will be glad you did it right the first time , rather than just painting over it.Be sure when you get it all scd off to use a good primer before you paint and since it's real wood you really need to use enamel paint.
